Picture credits

For the pictures in Wondria's Explore topics. Last updated: 12 October 2026

Each Explore topic in Wondria has one picture. They are photographs and illustrations shared by their authors under open licences, or in the public domain, and found on Wikimedia Commons. Wondria staff chose each one. We store them with the app, so a child's device never fetches them from anywhere else.

We are grateful to the people who made them. Each picture's author and licence are also shown under it in the app. We have resized every picture, and the app shows each one cropped to fit its frame. Where we changed a picture in any other way, the table says so. No author or licensor endorses Wondria.

Where a picture is licensed CC BY-SA, our resized copy is shared under that same licence. Public domain pictures need no credit, and we credit them anyway.

The planets, Mars and family scenes, the 3D icons, the picture of Mars in the Explore example and the poses of Spark on the Wondria home page were made with an AI image tool. Wondria staff chose them. They are illustrations, not photographs, and they do not show real places or people.
